She hides him from his attackers, holding her friend Lily’s purse with Lily’s ID inside. Dex, an underworld boss, sets out to find the person who saved him. He ends up meeting Lily, who quickly claims the credit and sees Dex as a potential match. But fate brings Dex and Athena back together. Yet, things get more complicated when Athena decides she can’t be with a man tied to the criminal world.
My Review: What really grabbed me were the moments when Dex tries to be just an ordinary guy. But overall, the story feels too predictable and could’ve been more polished. The acting is average, and the villains are so underdeveloped that the drama loses its punch. That said, the mix of comedy, romance, action, and suspense makes it a fun, if simple, watch.
